Watercolor paintings from my last trip to the American Museum of Natural History. It's hard to find a (quiet) place to sit where you can paint freely, so you take what you can get, and this time it was the bird hall, in front of the owls.

Done anywhere between 15 and 20 minutes, I guess.

Long-eared owl, great grey owl, snowy owl, barn owl.

these are phenomenalllll especially for the short time frame. i adore the lighting on the barn owl. the yellows on it make it look like it's flying into light/sun or something.

wait, you did all of these in 20 minutes? or 20 minutes for each one? which would still be amazing....i like the great grey owl and the snowy owl the best...not sure why..i just do

They're all about 20 minutes each. Some might have taken a little more time, like the great grey owl.
